I updated to CS4 awhile ago and just realized I still have CS3 folders in my apps can I delete that stuff? Or is it needed? It eats up about 1GB of space, not that I'm memory short or anything

I'd say it's safe to delete them but you might just want to move or rename them, then Run CS4 for a while to make certain everything works properly.

Good point, can I disable it just to have the option stop popping up when I open something with PS I sometimes go by a quick look and pick cs3 to open when I meant 4(they look so much alike )

Hey iDad,

If you need to remove your old CS3 installation, check here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/400/kb400605.html

That being said, if you just want to make sure CS4 is always used instead of CS3, you have to set the file association.

So select a jpg file and do a get info (command+i), in the "open with" select CS4.

Do this for other file types associated with CS3 (gif, psd, tif, etc).

Your CS4 installation normally does this for you. Strange it didn't do it on your case.
