|

All of a sudden, when Photoshop was launched, there was this notification about my monitor's profile, something like that.
I didn't pay attention, clicked on 'ignore and continue anyway' and now all pictures seem very different color-wise. This only happens in Photoshop, for example Flash shows everything normal.
Can someone please help me out?
Thanks. |

Are you sure it was your monitors profile? or was it a mismatched profile to the file you were opening, if it was the file which i suspect it was you need to assign a profile.
edit - assign profile
but you should set up ps to open your files in the correct profile for future reference. |

I'm not really sure what the notification was saying, but now every image that I open, seems darker and also all grays seem to have a pinkish tone in them.
I haven't changed anything, at least I don't remember doing so.
If for example I create a blank image and fill it with a light gray color, Photoshop will show it to be pinkish, but if I save it and view it from another program then it looks normal. |

So if you have no problems in other applications we have to assume it is a ps issue: i would suggest yo try first of all to go through your ps settings & change them to the correct profiles:
i am not sure what country you live so the setting will vary from europe to usa & maybe other countries.
Try this link it should help: http://cpn.canon-europe.com/content/technical/colourmanagement2.do
& follow the instructions for the colour settings for ps
hope this helps if not you could re-load ps or just try & close ps down & re-open first to see if it re-sets everything |
