I have big problem with ps cs4.
When i load an image that looks like this:
http://www.imageno.com/r754lj7l2al0pic.html
it is shown in the ps like this:
http://www.imageno.com/e6wmh2n5rawmpic.html

I can edit the image and the "scattered" areas behave like the actual image. When i save the file it looks normally again. Also when i create a new file it looks like that:

Can anyone help me? Im using a cs4 extended, trial version from the adobe webpage. Im running it at vista 32 bit. I've tried reinstalling it and running it in compatibillity mode with xp but it did not help.

Heh I have just found the solution, I just needed to disable openGL drawing in settings>performance. Probably my GPU was too weak

First thing to try is updating your video drivers and see if that helps.
