Nobody beats my pile...

P3 450mhz
384 MB SDRAM
40GB Hard Drive
Broken Sound Card
2 Video cards (I'm not sure what they are, but they're pretty old and dusty...)
Dual monitor setup. One is a decent 17 inch CRT and the other is like a 15 year old 15 inch with a warm and happy urine yellow tint to it.

The coolest thing on my computer is my 52x Memorex CD Burner. It burns CDs so fast. Only problem is that my computer sucks so bad that it hinders the performance of the drive.

Thankfully I'll be upgrading soon.

How are you liking the serial ATA hard drive Patrick? Noticeable difference to IDE?

I weep with embarrasment at topics like these, but hey! it's the motion in th ocean ofter all ;)

AMD 1.2gig
1gig DDR Corsair RAM
20gig H/D
40gig external H/D
52x CD-Rom Burner Drive
Hercules GeForce 2ti GFX Card
Hercules Audigy(?) Soundcard
Crappy Headphones
HP Deskjet 9670 Printer (A3)
Nikon Super Coolscan LS9000 Scanner (multi-format scanner)
IBM Powerscan(?) [OLD]
17" Hansol 1710E Monitor (old and crap colour)
20.1" TFT Lacie Photon20Vision Monitor
Spyder2Pro Colour Calibrator (just bought to replace the old model, it's my new toy, I have calibrated 20 times in the last 3 weeks)

So in short, my hardware is pants, but to me it's all about the perephials and the talent ;) (that and I don't need a load of processing power)

P.S: I have bought a 2gig Pentium chip but I am still unsure if it will just slot into my M/Board (also a RAID model) and the hassle of bloody insulating cement .

I used to weep. If the thread rolls around when you just bought a new PC (like me), then it works well. lol But, that will soon fade...

I like it, Bryan, but I don't really know a difference, etc. :) Just seemed like a good thing to have and HP was having a good deal, I thought, when I ordered it.
