Looking for a good quality 27" monitor for photo processing. Tried a Samsung 2693 but illumination was uneven so had it replaced - but that was the same! Cannot really afford to go to their LED based monitor.

There must be a good 27" LCD (1900x1200) out there so what do the semi/professionals use?

I have 3 monitors on my Windows XP based system and looking to use the new one as the main one. Main one at the moment is Samsung 214T 21" 4:3 aspect. Will also replace one of the old ones with a 30" monitor for Bridge/storeyboards/Zoom Browser. Would prefer to have same manufacturer as the 27" for this.

Anyone help?
