Hello,

I've a photo on layer 1 as background.
On another layer I've an object which I want to make transparant, but not full transparant (50% transparant).
So I can see the backgound and the object.

How can I do this in Photoshop?

Thanks in advance

Kindly regard

Jurgen

Put the layer you want to have transpareny above the background (it should be anyway).
Then lower the opacity setting in the layers palette for that layer to 50%, or whatever % gives you the desired effect.
