Hey I'm a complete rookie to photoshop. This is my first minute using photoshopped I was first inspired by some youtube videos and saw what could be done.

I just need some quick work to be done for me, I'm sure you can do it in 3-4 minutes. I have tried countless of hours to make it work but I just fail.

Okay this is for a school little assignment. I'm in grade 11 COMM TECH without taking grade 10. So everyone has an idea what to do and I'm sort of lost.

Basically we are supposed to make a Poster something for the school. So I'm thinking basically some where of the lines of Swine Flu

What I needs to be done

Get like 4-5 pigs on the bottom and then just like some tap water spraying onto them from the top.

And then somewhere text saying. " FIGHT SWINE FLU! " WASH YOUR HANDS!

THANK YOU ID REALLY APPRECIATE IF YOU DID THIS FOR ME

??? I dont get it? You want US to do YOUR homework? That's not how it works. We will guide you to make your own and help with any questions. Start with a blank canvas and find the text tool and just start off the poster with the text you wanted... then work from there.

Step 1- open the pig picture in PS. Make sure you have the layers palette open. (Window-Layers)

Step 2- hit ctrl+j to make a duplicate pig layer. In the layers palette, drag the original background layer into the trash can (bottom of palette).

Step-3 Take the magic wand tool, (in the options at the top) set it to about 25 tolerance and tick contiguous. Now click on the greyish background, then hit delete. You should now have the pig, without a background. Hit ctrl+d to deselect. You can use the eraser tool to clean up if need be.

Step 4- Hit ctrl+n for to get a new blank canvas. Set the size for whatever you want, but make certain to set the resolution to 72 (same as the pig picture).

Step-5 use the move tool on the pig, and drag it onto the new canvas. Do this for as many pigs as you want. Each will be on it's own layer, when you highlight each layer you can use the move tool on each to move the pig pictures individually.

See if you can get to this point, then we'll continue...

Like when you mean to open it up in photoshop do you mean Open photoshop go to file --> open then open the pig.

Cause it automatically sets it as my background. Is there a way I can do it the way you did so I can move it after

Hit ctrl+t for transform. You'll see a bounding box which will allow you to alter the size. Hold the shift key to constrain the proportions. You can even make each one a different size if you want to.

When you have it the size you want, click the check mark at the top.

Step 5, in my first post, or hit ctrl+c to copy. Then click on the new canvas and hit ctrl+v to paste. Paste or drag as many copies as you need to the new canvas.
