i see in the design reveiw section where someone has recolored the audi r8
i was just wondering how i recolour the car without making it look like a crappy job in paint

Like most anything you do in PS a lot depends on the image itself as to what will work best. Here I used a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer targeting red. I masked half of it to show the difference, it was a red 57.
