hi,
i'm scanning images to photoshop, cleaning out pencilwork by adjusting levels. Then i create a new channel, name it lineart. I select the lines from my blue channel, make them black and place them on my lineart channel. Then I erase the contents of the RGB-channels by painting them all white.
Now i have my canvas, i can start colouring without affecting my lines.
But when i make the RGB-channel white, it hangs over my lineart channel as a sort of transparant layer, meaning i get my lines all gray and not black. I don't know why this is, it should be black (same as when i click out the eye on my RGB-channel) I think i'm getting something very basic out of sight but don't know what.
