Hello, I have been ahving this problem for a while now and cant find an answer anywhere.

My erased is not working properly, even thought its set at 100% hardness when i use it is like if there was antialias or feathering set to it and i get a blurred edge on things, same thing happens when i delete a selection using the del key, any ideas? I have tried resetting all tools at startup, and resetting brushes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

T.

If the eraser leaves blurred edges, even when the brush setting is at 100% hardness, you may want to re-create Photoshop's preferences file (it could be corrupted). Of course, after doing so, you'll need to redo a few of your personal preferences. It's a good idea to write them down before re-creating the preferences file. Anyway, to re-create your preferences file, start the application while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS X). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"

Hope this is helpful.
