Hello,
I am recreating our company business card due to not having the original source files.

I have everything finished but this one wavy line that I can't get quite right. I have tried using the marquee tool then warping it, the pen tool then warping it and I get close but not close enough. When I do get close the image is all jaggy looking.

We are using Photoshop CS4 on windows XP. The image of the business card is located here:

I know this is most likely a very simple thing to do but I'm stuck. Your help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

The pen tool would be the best one to use.

Thanks for your reply. I would probably agree with you but do you have any suggestions as to how or why the edges of the image would be so jagged?

Thanks.

You said "the pen tool then warping it..."

There should be no need to warp it. Use the pen tool create a shape just like the example you posted the link to. You could even use that image as a guide if you like.

Hello again hawkeye.

OK, thanks. I will give that a try. Gotta say I really didn't think of using the image as a guide (I was thinking inside the box).

Much appreciated.

OK. I have used Photoshop for years but there are just some things I don't have a need to use. One of those tools I don't have a need for is the pen tool.

Here is my wavy line using the pen tool. And this is where I'm at after 1 1/2 days. Sad I know. This is the best one too!

Besides the fact this doesn't look great, it looks like the edges are very jaggy.

I have followed tutorials and I can use the tool pretty good for some things but not this one.

Any additional help, thoughts, info. Next to someone doing it for me, I think this one has me beat.

Thanks again.
Kathy
