I was sent a file that I want to use as a photo border with a service I use. I have been able to import the file and convert to a png file (reguired) but how in the world do I get rid of the background? Just need the logo..Thanks

I have not worked with .png's much hopefully this will work?

Did you try right mouse clicking over the image and when the csm appears, select Save Image As. When the SIA box appears onscreen, make sure it has a png suffix.

i am curious, it looks to me like you basically got just the log off of the original and turned it into a transparent backgrounded png file? right? if so how did you do that? i would love to be able to make my log from my biz that is a jpg and just get the logo off the background, that way if and when i wanna change my background color on my website it still works. how do i do this?
