I'm not familiar with any Photoshop above 7, but I'd assume yours has the same features, and then some. In PS7, if you have the text activated, there's a small icon on my top task bar that is a capital T over a curved line and when I click that, it brings up a small box that lets you select the shape you want your text to be. Once you select the type of shape, you can type and it'll make that shape..granted, the Fish option on mine isn't that great, but it's all that mine is equipped to do!

thank you for responding, and so quick. However
it is not exactly what I'm looking for. My fault.
It is tough to explain.
Fill any shape, that's selected so the text fits perfectly.
In other words I bring the shape I want, select it and fill it with text... Exactly. When done the text alone takes on the shape. thanks, gawcrea
