I know I'm gonna sound like a bit of a tool, but bare with me I'm a newbie.
I've got a disk with a mag thats got some really nice fonts on it.
How do i access these and load them into photoshop, or any other content for that matter? cheers

You can't just pluck a font from a magazine and install it. I wish it was that easy.
There are many free fonts available that may work for you. Here's one site: http://www.dafont.com/

There are others, just Google.

If there are font files on the disc, ttf or otf files, then you can. Download the file, open control panel, fonts, then drag the file to that folder.
