I just paid top dollar for this program and it wont even open. I tried for 20 min to post on the adobe forums and couldn't even figure out how.

Like I said, it crashes on that statement. I know there is a trick where you can put a "~" at the beginning of a file name of a trouble file and the program will skip it on load, but I can't find which file to do it for. Here is the error message. Pleeeease... help me.

OK i just figured it out. For anyone who ever has this problem, I think it's because I do not have a printer, and the one I used to have was not compatible with 64-bit vista. TWAIN has to do with scanning, as far as I know, and it was a printer-scanner.

The file is in Plugins/import-export/ and it is called Twain_32.8BA.

Just put a "~" at the beginning of the file name and that way the computer wont recognize it and you also will have it for safe keeping in case you ever need it.

I just wanted to say thank you! lol I haven't been able to run Photoshop CS3 for a few months. After a lot of web research I found out that possibly the printer I had bought recently could be the cause for Photoshop not longer working its a Lexmark 2400. I run 64 bit Vista Ultimate. I put the ~ before the file you said and Viola! Photoshop works again yay. So again thank you so much for your post :) You are my new hero lol
