I'm not sure what's going on, but here's the lowdown:

I use the square brackets a lot. I use them for sizing and controlling edge hardness. They're very important to me.

They keep dying! I'll start up photoshop, edit one or two photos (About 5 minutes of work each), then suddenly and seemingly randomly, the square brackets become unresponsive. They just stop doing anything when I press them.

I then have to save my work and reboot photoshop to get them working again. So far this sitting, I've had to do it 5 times. This is ridiculous, don't you guys agree?

What's happening?

I've had to restart 8 times now.

Does nobody have even a hint of an idea what it could be? This is a silly glitch.

Are you running Trillian? Also is it just square brackets?

I am not running trillian (I don't even know what that is, actually)

It appears to just be the square brackets, yeah.

ALTHOUGH, I just remembered that if I use Firefox for too long, sometimes my apostrophe and question mark keys make strange unicode symbols instead of their proper symbols. I then have to restart firefox to fix this.

I wonder if this is related.

Yeah I'm thinking along the lines of keyboard drivers, conflicts with other programs, etc. PC or MAC btw?
