I have created a .psd file that contains several images, layers and smart objects.
How can I chop up this .psd file into individual images for use in web page tables?
When I attempt to crop the original .psd and then save that cropped image as an individual .gif it does not preserve some effects I have on some of the layers such as a "gradient overlay".
I'm also guessing cropping the parts I want as individual images and then saving them as web format would be the best way to chop up the .psd? Is this even a recommended process or should I design each image alone and not in an overall (image) .psd? |

Take your layered PSD into ImageReady and slice it in that.

Welcome to the forum diggler. |
Thanks for your response.
In CS3 I have found this to be accomplished via the "Slice Tool".
Works as expected. Now I'll work on multiple slices in the one .psd. |
