Hi
Is there anyway to activate this helplines magnet feature?It doesn't recognize when i move helplines to the middle of the layer.

Are you talking about the magnetic lasso tool? If so look at the options in the tool bar. |

If there is little difference between the light/dark values in the image you are working on, magnetic lasso will struggle to pick out a path. Not totally sure what you mean though.

Yes. Change the tolerance of the lasso tool, in the context sensitive menu bar.

Sometimes mine fail to snap to center.
To put one in the center go: View > New Guide > 50% |
