|

Ok, so I'm planning to do a production of "Dracula" this Halloween, and I wanted to create an image for the advertisements. I took a background photo that I liked and cut out a picture of Dracula and placed it on top. I then merged the layers and cut it out into an oval shape. Now I have the picture just the way I want it. (See Finished Graphic)
The problem now is that however I try to save the file, I end up with a white outline around the image the same size as my canvas dimensions. I want to eliminate this outline so that I'm left with nothing but the pure oval image. How can I accomplish this?

Finished Graphic. Note the white border at the canvas dimensions. |

In Photoshop make sure that you have a blank layer beneath your image and save it in either GIF or PNG or compatible transparent format.
