|

I've created a mediaeval border for my wedding invitiations using photoshop CS3 and shape layers.
I know that I can stroke the borders using the 'layer style' panel, but this just produces a solid line appropriate to the shape I created using the pen tool.
Now, if I had used paths, I know that I can stroke the path with a brush, thus giving a hand drawn 'pencil' look, but is there anyway to do this with a shape layer? The work is finished and looks fine as is, it could just look loads better if it had that hand drawn look. Unfortunately, the border is far too complicated to redo from scratch so any tips would be great.
Thanks,

If it is a shape layer than you already have a path, check the paths palette.
If it's just a shape, you can select it, then in the paths palette click the Make workpath from selection icon. Then you'll have path. |

Thanks mate.
I'll have a play around, see if I can get a good effect. |
