Hi all
Here's one more variation of the background removal topic.
I have shot of a lone tree silhouetted against a sunset sky. Along with the tree trunk are a myriad of bushes and tall grass. I want just the trunk and the beautifully multi-colored banded sky at sunset. How do I get rid of the bazillion small bushes branches and grass and leave behind a nice smooth sunset sky?
I've been using the clone tool but I don;t like how it smears the sky I want to leave behind. Is there an extract filter or some brush function that could select a dark colored pixel and replace it with some nearest neighbor pixel?
As always for me the struggle is one of vocabulary. I'm betting the tool is out there and I don't know what it is called. Eraser options don't seem to do what I am hoping for.
thx

There are a number of ways to do things in PS, depending on the image. You might want to post it. |
