Hello everyone Does anyone know why PS CS4 is only recognizing 3255mb as Availible Ram under Preferences>Performance>Memory Usage when my system is packed with 12 GB on my i7 920 PC

In the preferences menu under the performance tab you will find the option to increase/decrease the amount used by PS. If that is already set to max then I would suggest it is a hardware issue. Just out of curiosity what OS are you running, windows only recognises 3gb of ram no matter how much you have installed.
