I shot objects on grey backgrounds. When I do some Shadow/Higlight to edit the image, brighten it and improve contrast, I see a banding in the grey area. Does anyone else see that problem. I'm attaching an enlarged area of a file as an example of what I'm seeing. Much easier to see of course in a darkened room.

Try using 16 bit mode.
