Hello all
Im a keen beginner photographer and really love the hobby but feel that Im missing out on something by not knowing how to use photoshop for my photos as I'd love to take my pics that bit further so
Im looking for help on choosing the best online photoshop course for myself.
I'd really like one thats for beginners and explains things really easily and in depth.Another must is a course that gives you excersises to do after learning a certain area which I think would help me alot.
So any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Thanks alot in advance

I strongly recommend lynda.com for Photoshop classes, they are not free but very reasonably priced. The one I like best for Photoshop is Deke McClelland's One on One series, there are three separate classes with many in depth parts. He walks you through everything you need to know from basic settings to advanced techniques. There is One on One Fundamentals, Advanced and Mastery.

Probably one of the better known ones, with a collection of free content as well as pay for. www.lynda.com (just seen post above as I type, so let this be a confirmation).
www.youtube.com also has a load of user created content on it from the mundane to the magical, it's a case of wading through the wheat and the chaff (sorry for mixed metaphor).
Won't reiterate any more but are you focusing on free content, or are you willing to pay? _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

Hi joeteds,
If you want the best then I'd echo the comments of Claudia P. They're good at what they do, and Deke's series are the most comprehensive I've ever seen.
Good luck! _________________ Matt

Thanks alot Claudia I think Im going to get the CS5 one on one fundamentals[/quote]
When I registered CS4 I was given the option of one free gift and one of the choices was a free month at lynda.com. I am hoping Adobe does the same when I register CS5 after it arrives, if not then I too will pay. I want to go through Deke's entire CS5 series.
