|
|
hi,
I like making 3d text effects using Xara 3D and photoshop. However at work I've seen many 3D text designs like the ones attached. I can't seem to replicate these using the above two applications. Anyone know how this effect can be achieved and/or what applications they may have used?
Thanks
Kishan

There are heaps of 3D programs out there, any of which could have made these images. Adobe illustrator can produce a flat 3D as well.

Hi Auieos
Thanks a lot for your reply. Can this be achieved using Xara 3d? I've tried but cannot get the text to be that glossy (kind of like a coloured chrome effect).
Thanks

Hey, you could try a large picture of the sky or a reflective surface etc and then use it as a texture on text face in xara. Could work. If you have a chrome photoshop filter you might do it outside xara. I don't know xara that well sorry.
