I'm trying to make a circle of text.

I have created paths 3 different ways (with the pen, ellipse, and turning a selection into a work path). But then when I select Type, my cursor doesn't change when I go over the line.

Can you tell me everything that must be perfect for this to work, such as the layers I need to do everything on? I tried clicking 'paths' instead of 'shape layers' too.

Oh! I didn't know you had to have CS. I just did it in PSP instead, thanks for the help!
