Can anyone help me make good modern looking Tron lines. The colorful lines

that come out the back of the bikes.

If you need some reference, look here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1dHhktFLPs&feature=player_embedded

Thanks alot!

Well they're obviously opaque, luminescent, and have an almost organic feel to them. That means you have to treat it like a piece of glowing rubber. Start with getting your basic shape using the pen tool. Then dupe your layer, erasing more of the top of it with a soft brush (set to opacity 30%) and gaussian blur it. I don't know you'll have to play it by ear upon how much exactly. Then go into your blending options and color overlay the duped/blur layer with a much lighter color (But still in the same color spectrum as your original - i.e. blue/light blue). Then select your standard soft brush and work on the lighting on the bottom part and top part. Obviously the bottom part is going to have a lot more light than the top. Make sure you can still see through the whole thing. The only thing that should seriously be glowing is where the piece of rubber is touching the ground. Yup. haha
