I would like to draw on this model of teeth. This is an example picture that I took, and reduced size down for ease of posting. For instance, I want to draw on the side of the tooth next to the gum line to demonstrate how a cavity may look. If I just use a brush and a certain color, it looks cheesy and blatantly drawn on there.
What is the best way to add this "cavity" to the side of the tooth and maintain perspective of the picture and follow the contour of the tooth. Depending on the complexity, I'm willing to leave the cavity looking somewhat fake, so it doesn't have to completely represent the color and texture of a real cavity. I just don't want it to look like someone just drew a "U" on the side of the tooth.
Here's a link to larger version if you want to play...

Thanks in advance!

This thread make my mouth hurt.
Try using orange or even the eye dropper tool to get the colour of the tooth.
Draw the cavity like you have been.
Image > Adjustments > Hue Saturation.
Move the lightness down a bit to change the colour darker.
Once the colour looks right zoom right in and carefully use a soft eraser to conform to the shape of the tooth.
You can also add layer FX, such as a black inner glow or drop shadow to give it extra kick.

thanks for the reply. Looks great. I'll give it a try. Sometimes I struggle with free-handing things, but this seems like it should be easy enough. I'll let you know. Thanks again!
