okay guys im not sure where to post this but i have a problem i scanned a picture and it has some pen marks over it. My question is, is there a way to take the pen marks off the picture. I tried the magic eraser but the problem is that if i do that then it just leaves the pen marks blank and it still messes the picture up. If i just use the eraser it leaves the marks just white. Is there anyway i can just take them off ?
thanks |

Welcome to the forum huntsman. You are going to need either a combination of heal tool and clone tool. You might want to read up on them before attempting a tutorial, here, try this one. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

Hi there,
Simple! if you know how to use the clone tool that'll be good.. cause the eraser tool will take it back to while or the original photo, so the clone tool is best for this.. try it out
hope I was of any help : ) _________________ Add your Business and be part of a new Business Video Directory revolution : )

hey thanks guys i tried the clone and that worked perfect.
I have another problem i have separated a picture into 2 layers, such as the flower and butterfly. I want to make the butterflies wings more brighter and make the colors stick out more. When i do that and then i try to put it back on the flower thats opened in a different window my changes dont stick with it. It just goes back to normal why is that? I thought i could save each layer separate then change the stuff in each one and then put it back together. What am i doing wrong ? |

May be your using adjustment layer, you need to flatten the image and then drag it to the flower window..
try it _________________ Add your Business and be part of a new Business Video Directory revolution : )

now how do i get the color to match. the original pic has very fine and vibrant colors but when i print it prints them dark and flat if you know what i mean. Even when i bright them up in photoshop it prints just greener but its still not as vibrant and does not stand out like the original piece. Could it be my printer ? i have an inkjet do i need a color laser printer? |
