It's nothing to do with your printer, you basically need colour knowledge and understand the RGB or CMYK values and a little bit of retouching skills to make the photo stand out..
Your printer is fine.. so don't judge colors according to your computer screen, you need to learn the RGB or CMYK values, so if your saying that you can see a lot of green in your print that means there's a lot of yellow or a lot of cyan colour in it to print it like that..
