Hello guys.

I've been trying to copy an effect but haven't been able to fully recreate it.

Im attaching a picture of the effect I want to create (left side around planet earth) and how far I could go (right side)

What I did so far is create a circle, go to blending options on Stroke, chose a rainbow gradient, Style=Angle. So I do get the rainbow effect radiating from the circle but now I need to give that "sunshine" effect, if you will.

Any ideas of how to achieve this?

Im using CS5 by the way.

Thank you!! Big Wink

Hey,

To create a starry glow effect do the following.

Make a large vertical black stripe or a small white one.
Apply the wind filter to it about 4 times.
Rotate the canvas so the stripes are now horizontal.
Filter > Distort > Polar Co-Ordinates > Rectangular to Polar.
Filter > Blur > Radial Blur > Spin (To soften edges).
Filter > Blur > Radial Blur > Zoom (To soften surface).

Hope that helps.
