Hi there,
I am having an issue in a design document I am currently working on.
I have constructed a biography made up of text and 300dpi images.
The text in the in my document looks pixelated and blurry. I have tried changing the anti-alias tool and converting to a shape as others have recommended both of these have little effect.
The text I am using is Gill Sans MT
Font size ranging between 14 and 50. Have tried other fonts, this was the one that looked the least pixelated. My photoshop is CS5.
The only way I can get it to look good, it so put my whole document at dpi - which is a bit silly as this has to be emailed to media and the document is 40MB which just makes the recipient of such attachments annoyed. I am sending out the finished product as a pdf, but even compressing this, the smallest I can get it is 2.5MB which is stil a little sizey.
I guess I am asking if anyone knows how the darn text can besharpened up, if this can be done, I can save it was a regular 72 dpi which will allow my document to be smaller and fix all my problems.
If we have no idea about the text, maybe someone has a magic way to compress a high quality pdf without it being lossy? Every method I have tried has downgraded the quality hugely.
Sorry to take up your time, am just at a loss with this frustrating issue
Cheers,
