Have just got CS5 and having a problem with display of brightness/exposure levels. The display is always far darker in bridge/RAW than it is in Photoshop. Can anyone tell me how to equalise them? |

Try checking that you are in the same working space and that other settings stack up.
In Photoshop, look at edit>color settings. There's a whole area knowledge there which I'm only slowly coming to grips with, but have a look at your RGB Working space in particular. (For example, Adobe RGB can display more colors than sRGB IEC. But not all output methods (e.g the web) allow for all those colors, so they'll be clipped on conversion.
Also look at image>mode (you'll probably find it's in RGB, which is most likely what you want).
In Raw, look at the workflow preferences (located under the display). Here you'll see which working space Bridge is using. Maybe it doesn't match what you're using in Photoshop.
As for Bridge - I have no idea - maybe it's just reflects you operating system display?
Be aware that when you print it (or send it to somebody else, or put it on the web) it will look different again because each output device has its own characteristics. |
