A few days ago Adobe stopped developing flash for mobile devices and I'm guessing it won't be too long before they stop developing flash altogether. HTML5 is the next thing for online animation but what will they do with the current flash videos? Convert them to HTML5?

Probably, already tools to convert from one to another like swiffy.

Flash still has more browser support so i guess pages will continue to use it for a while so they don't loose traffic.

hi,
myself,
it will be years yet for html5 to be fully implemented...

there still will be plugin from third parties, to playthe online flash files

Idon't really see a problem... because your browser by then will be fully html5 compatable, and they will also still have the plug in for the flv players. places like you tube will probably over a very long time phase out flv .....

Thank you jerryb4417 and Auieos for your replies.
It turned out that Steve Jobs was right since he bet on HTML5 and not flash but he didn't think of the customers who are oing to use the ipad before HTML5 becomes mainstream.

hi,
your welcome,
true what jobs said however.. apple doesn't seem to make any major preps for html5... html5 may give apple a lot of unforseen problems... forexample

apple change it policies to where it blocked consumers from buying things diectly from amazon... well amazon developed thier cloud ereader, uses html5, for ipad and consumer can now buy ebooks from amazonvia the html5 cloud reader ... ... plus amzon developing other html5 compatible apps.....

oh well let the wars go on..
