|
|
My main uses for photoshop so far have been based around web graphics and site builds. However i need to edit a wooden carving of a bird i had made. I am not even sure if photoshop is the correct tool for the job.
Although i am 95 % happy with it i need to make the neck size longer, tilt the head, and change the angle of the legs. I have taken photos of the piece and eventually i would like to turn this into a 3d cad style drawing and a mold for production. The carving cost me a fair bit so i would prefer to manipulate the sections in photoshop if possible. Could anyone please offer me advice ?
Thanks in advance

It certainly sounds like something that could be done in Photoshop. |

Copy/paste, clone, transform, liquify, Etc. Some or all of them, it all depends on the image itself. |

Obviously its a potential market product so i cant actually show you the pictures i am using as such... However if you imagine a swan esque carving on dark wood about 31 cm high. 6 ccm wide and a depth of 3-4 cm you are somewhere close. The neck would like to be increased by about 1/2 cm, the belly slightly exagerrated, and the legs need to completely change position and the claws need to be reduced. I know this isn't easy but the liquify tool has already helped me in someway. I appreciate your help.
