Hi All, I'm new here and my first post. I figured it was time to sign-up on this forum after cruising it for a while and pose to you my first question. Before I start, I'm a Photoshop "Dabbler", but not a professional by any means.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to take a topographical map image of, for example, a lake, and convert the depth lines into a Photoshop shape that will allow for it to be re-sized without losing quality.

Here's a link to a PDF that has an example of a lake contour map that I'd be looking to convert:

Any thought/suggestions/help that you could provide, would be great! Thanks in advance.
