Hello, Im new to this forums and probably my question my sound dumb.
Im going to start designing flyers, business cards, etc.. and my question is regarding the output print quality from photoshop and illustrator, some fonts looks better in photoshop than in illustrator, I know the advantages of a vector design. My idea is use photoshop at 300DPI, I wonder how the graphic and text will look printed. Even though I use a resolution of 300 DPI when I zoom it I can see the pixels from text and graphics, If I print it Im i gonna see thoses pixels to?

Thank you

It should look fine.

If you print at 300DPI then your card will look the same as when you view it at 100% in Photoshop.

Well when you zoom it, you will inevitably see the pixels because that's what pictures fundamentally are: a group of colored pixels. Still, if you're doubtful, you can always do a test print and see what comes up.

I have designed many flyers and full color multipage brochures, and have used designed text in photoshop. there's no loss in output or print quality at 300. Photoshop type is much better than it's assumed to be for final output.

If you're in doubt though, be sure to get a laser print and not an inkjet to proof it with.
