great job making these look not cheezy, the bottom one l ooks like way to much is going on so i'd say the top looks a lot better, also good font choice... overall= great job and kool concepts

yeah, I like the top one better too.

What kind of brushes did you use?

i used a splatter brush and anotherkid of spallter for the back ground, and then some grunge/crack brushes to delete parts of the pentagon
i had a second below it to fill in the deleted spots
