				| Hello all,
I'm new to photoshop. I'm trying to add some text over a graphic. I've accomplished this, but it doesn't look very good. Any suggestions on making the text stand out more? I've played around with layer styles (drop shadow, etc.) Thanks

				| Welcome to the forum
It may sound daft, but have you tried another colour other than white? or does it have to be white?

Sample a nice brown with the colour sampler and then invert that colour, that should stand out!

				| Try some different fonts. And rasterize the type layer and use some of photoshops tools and filters to change the appearance of the text. Try some layer masks to give it texture. | |

				| Yep change your text with color contrast also its position. Text position isn't good cause it's on the snake body and makes looking odd of the image. I am not sure but you can try to make the text as like snaky. | |
