If you have ever watched Adult Swim, you probably have seen this effect done: they take a simple image, like a switch, and then imprint their logo onto it. I have tried doing the same thing, but the text does not seem to meld into the Photo. Are there any tutorials or advice on this?

I know how to blend, the problem is making text attach to the image and making it look like it belongs there.

Say you have a peanut butter jar with a logo. You remove the logo, then make your own logo that wraps around the peanut butter jar like the previous one. That's what I want to do, make text appear on objects in perspective, but I can't seem to set it right, or something.
