Hi everyone,
I am using CS5 and I desperately need some help. I have hundreds of large scanned images that consist of 9 smaller images. I need to crop the 9 smaller images and create their own unique files which I can then name. I use Ctrl+C, Ctrl+N, Ctrl+V, Shift+Ctrl+S (and then rename the smaller image).

My mission is to be able to batch this process through an action. I am using an action for the above process but when I go to batch I am not able to save as it simply overwrites the files after the first large scanned image is done being processed.

My solution was to use the assigned keyboard short cut for the action and do each photo one at a time. It is workable but I would really like to process all images at once. It has been suggested that I need to use a Script with layers for each of the 9 images but I was told that this too would only allow me to do one large scanned image at a time. I investigated the process to create a Script and I think that might be over my head. I am not new to Photoshop but use it for this scanning/cropping process only so I am not aware of all of it's capabilities or limitations.

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance. Greg
