Hi . . . does anyone know if there is a way to change the black blank background (when no file is opened) to some other color? I have trouble seeing if the edges of my photos have black marks on them from when I have scanned them and inadvertently gotten some of the film edges into the scan. Thank you.

Hi Lisa

I am using CC but I think it's similar on most versions, go to Edit/Preferences/Interface and there you can choose a colour for your background...

Hope this helps.
