Hi, Don't mean to sound think, but how the hell do you create a transparent circle on a white background in Photoshop 7. I know how to create a white background and draw a circle with the crop tool, but how do I make the actual circle transparent. Hope someone can help

Not quite sure what you want…

Try changing your white background into a Layer (Layer->New->Layer from Background) then selecting a circle with the ellipse tool and hitting delete. This will give you a white rectangle with basically a hole in it (The transparent area will have a checker-board pattern). Is this what you are after? |

that works too but what you can do to make the circle itself transparent (if thats what you want) you can adjust the opacity which at the top of your layer pallet |

since it's transparent, couldn't your just pretend it's there? or do you need it to be translucent? |

Do you need a hole cut in your white background? _________________ Best Regards,
