Given an animated GIF file, don't have access to original photoshop file just the GIF. Banner image is of a date on the left side and an image on right side which was animated. Colleague wanted to change the date on the left. I could import the GIF as frames, all 36 frames, thought the best solution was to add new date layer to hide the old date layers on all 36 frames, but couldn't figure out how to reanimate the whole file. I tried merging layers so that old date layers wouldn't be seen, couldn't reanimate. Any ideas anyone? Is it easier and quicker just to recreate it from scratch?
