Hi,
I'm completely new to PS. I'm undertaking a training course at the moment so I'm learning week by week the basics. I have an IT background so I"m hoping that I will be able to pick up things quickly.

The reason I'm here though is that many many years ago I had a logo created for my business. Unfortunately at the time I was only give a low res 266x78 pixel version and I now that I'm learning how to use PS I want to try to recreate it high res and in a larger scale. I'm 99% sure it was created in photoshop originally.

During my last PS class I asked the trainer about it and they told me it would be easy to recreate but he couldn't really tell me how but said it could either be a shape or a font, could even be a Mac font (I use PC).

Can anyone give me any insight or a starting point for this??
I've attached a copy of the graphic part in question. The rest of the logo is just text.

If I was to recreate this then I could do it as a Font Type and then rasterize it so I could erase parts of the font I don't want, if you get what I mean

FONT = Tw Cen MT Con...
Then rasterized and erased parts that weren't needed
