I have used CS5 for years. I just recently set up a new computer and am now using Adobe's CC. When I tried to open old images from my other computer I could only open Photoshop images, not my jpg or png. I looked for something in Preferences that would allow this but didn't find anything. Can anyone help me with this issue?

Thanks

Lee

Hello and welcome, lee33. :)

I found this thread and thought I would ask if you had the Camera Raw plug-in installed? https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html

If not, maybe give it a try.

Thanks,

Patrick

Someone here that I know suggested right clicking and "open with PS CC" and it worked like a charm. I was sweating bullets for a while here thinking I had a few thousand images that I could not ever open again in PS.

Anyway, thanks for the reply, Patrick.
