hi all

hoping someone can point me in the direction of a tutorial to accomplish a similar effect to the map image i have attached to this post.

I would like to know how to:

1 - get a radial gradient to spread from a shape like the map shown

2 - how to create the topographic/gradient lines based on any given shape

thanks

Try using layer styles. Inner glow, inner shadow, stroke etc. There are many ways to adjust each, you'll need to experiment to get the look you're after.
