hi all,
as per the title : i've got two pics open in PS CS5. on the tabs, one says "(RGB/Cool" and the other says "RGB/*) *" ~ what does the star signify? i noticed on another pic i accidentally hit CTRL+Y and i got "(RGB/Cool CMYK" so i'm assuming it refers to a colour mode or such like? also, if it's something i've done, how do i revert to normal?

thanks.

RGB/CMYK represent the colour modes, as far as I'm aware the number behind represents the bit value (8-16-32)

If it's between two colour spaces then in all probability you are in 'working' colour mode. Ctrl+Y just changes between the working spaces.

Oh forgot about the * on the end.. means unsaved changes. At least that's my guess as it disappears when you save

* (Star) means that you extract your photo from Lightroom and its not correct color for print ... you can see printed color in Picasa photo viewer... So just Copy that photo and past it in a correct rgb color photo...
