I'm working on a university project where i have to calculate an area of a fungus growing on a dish.
I first select an area corresponding to the growth of a fungus, then on Histogram I read the amount of pixels; then, of the same picture I select the area of a second fungus, but despite this fungus show a much greater area, the amount of pixels I read on Histogram is lower than those of the previous selection!!

Any idea?
Thanks
