Hi all,
It's my first post, so I'll say Hi as well, Hi PhotoshopForums.com Users!
I'm trying to make a simple website for my creations, but haven't done that much with the new Photoshop CS4, and I need to make some background stuff.
Can you help me:
I want a single Column bit, off white colour, with rounded edges. In order to this in CSS for my Website, I thought a Top, Bottom, Left, Right and Middle piece would be good. I'm thinking the Middle piece being Repeated, and having no gradient. The 4 pieces on the outside, however, need a gradient. I'm wondering, how should I do this? Will it be best to put the Rounded Corners on the Left/Right or Top/Bottom pieces? I'm wanting an even Gradient all the way round, so should put these onto the Edge Pieces.
Basicly, to put all that shortly, how do I make say a Left Banner piece, that has corners at the Bottom Left and Top Left? I think I can do the Gradients, I'll post again if I can't. Do you think this is the best way to do this?
Also, one last thing ( Sorry about the Essay-Like Post! ), where can I get some good pattens, so I can make a nice repeating background?
Thanks
